With the twin jeans needle, you can give the seams of your jeans and other denim garments an authentic, professional look - even without using a special sewing machine:
On your normal household sewing machine, you can simultaneously sew two seams 4 mm apart using two upper threads on the top of the seam.
Note
The color of the bar tack is now red (previously blue). The technical properties of the needle are not affected by the color change.
Before sewing
The twin Jeans needle can be used on all standard household sewing machines that have a zigzag function. Like other household needles, it is inserted into the needle bar: The flat plunger side points away from you to the back.
The needle plate and presser foot must have a sufficiently large recess for the needle spacing: Therefore, use the zigzag stitch plate and a zigzag presser foot.
Threading
A separate spool of thread is required for each of the two needles. If you do not have a second thread holder, use a spool for the second thread and place it underneath the spool with the first thread on the spool holder. Make sure that the spool and thread reel are unwound in the same direction. Guide the two needle threads together through the guide elements of your machine as if they were one thread. Then separate the threads and pass one thread through each needle eye. Some machines have special separation options. In this case, please follow the instructions for use of your machine for threading.

The automatic needle threader does not work with twin needles!
