SPECIAL	Gebogen (Overlock, Blindstich, Kettel) Gebogene Nadeln gibt es neben einigen Spezialfällen (wie z.B. Kettelnadeln) in zwei Hauptgruppen: 1. die wenig gebogenen Overlock-Nadeln 2. die stark gebogenen Blindstich-Nadeln. Im Overlock-Bereich gibt es fast nur noch ein Standard-System B-27 (DCX27 sowie alte Bezeichnungen wie MY 1023 und UY 191 GS). Diese gerade Nadel ist bei Schmetz im SERV 7 Design als Standard gefertigt (tiefe Spezialhohlkehle, verstärkter Schaft), da sehr hohe Nähgeschwindigkeiten (bis 8.000 Stiche/Min) vewendet werden und damit eine sehr stabile Nadel gebraucht wird. Sehr selten werden noch gebogene Overlock-Nadeln in der Strumpfindustrie verwendet.
