OPTIMAT V-belts are pre-punched for the connectors. No special perforation tools are therefore required for splicing. The joint connector allows the belt the necessary freedom of movement and flexibility.
The low weight of the joint connector reduces the generation of practical centrifugal forces when the pulley is rotating at high belt speeds. This ensures smooth, shock- and impact-free running.
