DBxK5 with special geometry for multi-head embroidery machines
Demanding embroidery processes require the use of special needle geometries. Conventional needle geometries often do not meet the requirements, for example when processing sequins, in 3-D embroidery technique, with frequent changes in needle thickness, or when using thick embroidery threads.
For these applications, SCHMETZ offers a range of special geometries for the «DBxK5» needle system for multi-head embroidery machines.
These include the following needle types:
- DBxK5 KK (short butt)
- DBxK5 KK SERV 2 (short butt and shoulder flat)
- DBxK5 SERV 6 (special hollow groove and reinforced shaft)
- DBxK5 SERV 8 (extremely reinforced needle shaft)
- DBxK5 FHS (novel embroidery technique for extremely different needle thicknesses within one embroidery head)
