It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Necchi (classes 815, 835, 881, 885), Rimoldi (classes 815 - 03, 815 - 102, 815 - 103, 835 - 100) and Singer (classes 270, 270 - X 11, 270 - X 13, 270 - X 18 TO 29).
In size NM:70/SIZE:10, this version is especially well suited to light, fine woven and knit fabrics such as blouse and shirt fabrics. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
