The 34 (R) needle (needle system 34) has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Singer (classes 45231, 13820, 11, 15), Pfaff (classes 21 FOR LEATHER, 22 FOR LEATHER, 23, 24) and Minerva (classes 326, 521 to 522, 3216, 72122).
In size NM:140/SIZE:22, this version is especially well suited to heavy, multi-layer woven and knit fabrics as well as technical textiles. A sewing thread in the range Nm 40/2 to Nm 20/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
