The needle of system DCX1 has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial overlock, coverstitch and safety-stitch machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Yamato (classes 74 Series, 78 Series, ABH, ABW), Pegasus (classes A 31, DC, DCM, DCP) and Juki (classes AHC, BL, EF, ML).
In size NM:130/SIZE:21, this version is especially well suited to heavy, multi-layer woven and knit fabrics as well as technical textiles. A sewing thread in the range Nm 40/2 to Nm 20/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
