Sewing machine needle 134-35 FL SUK SERV 7 NM:120/SIZE:19 (10 needles)
The 134-35 FL SUK needle (needle system 134-35 FL) has a medium ball point for working knit fabrics, without damaging the loops. In the SERV 7 version, it also offers increased needle stability for secure seams. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines, here mainly for technical applications such as vehicle seating and vehicle interiors rather than classic garment production. The available needle sizes are used, among others, for heavy, dense knit fabrics and technical knits. As sewing thread, a matching thickness is usually recommended depending on the needle size chosen, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant; for very stretchy seams, a texturised thread also works well. The ball point glides between the loops instead of piercing them, keeping the seam clean and undamaged.
CANU is the abbreviation for "Catalog Number" and represents the system developed by the German needle manufacturer SCHMETZ and used worldwide today for the summary and identification of the same sewing machine needles, which have various designations specific to the sewing machine manufacturer (needle systems).

Needles with a normal chrome coating can be recognized by their shiny silver surface. The chrome coating provides protection against wear and corrosion. The surface is smooth and protects the material and the thread. Chrome needles can be used for all standard applications. Compared to nickel-plated needles, chrome-plated needles improve the service life of the needle at higher stitch counts. At Groz-Beckert, the equivalent chrome coating is being gradually replaced by their more environmentally friendly "dur" process.
Deep special scarf and reinforced shaft for increased needle stability and secure seams.
