The 2091 LGSP needle (needle system 2091) has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial sewing machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Yamato (classes CB - 513, CB - 515, CB - 516, CB - 517), Chandler (classes 710 - 1-N, 710 - 1-S, 710 - 12, 710 - 5-S) and Dürkopp Adler (classes 147 - 3, 247 - 12, 547 - OTHER CLASS, 566 - 175-16).
Thinner needle sizes are used, among others, for medium-weight standard woven and knit fabrics for everyday garment production, and the thicker versions for heavy, multi-layer woven and knit fabrics as well as technical textiles. As sewing thread, a matching thickness is usually recommended depending on the needle size chosen, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
