Purchase interval of 10 BR10
The 253 C needle has a hook point for chain stitch. It is used in special sewing machines for chenille and moss-stitch applications. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Amico (classes all classes, ALL CLASSES AMIC) and Taking (classes TK, TK - 111-10). In size NM:70/SIZE:10, this version is especially well suited to fine chenille and moss-stitch work on light fabrics. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable; a chenille or effect thread suited to the application is recommended.Package contents: pack BR10 with 10 needles
CANU is the abbreviation for "Catalog Number" and represents the system developed by the German needle manufacturer SCHMETZ and used worldwide today for the summary and identification of the same sewing machine needles, which have various designations specific to the sewing machine manufacturer (needle systems).
Until the end of 2020, the nickel-plated needle was the standard for household sewing machines. Since then, Schmetz has been gradually converting production to "chrome-plated", as has been standard for industrial needles for decades.
