The 265 SPI needle (needle system 265) has an acute round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Pfaff (classes 118, 238, 417, 418), Juki (classes LK, LZ, LK - 1900 ASS, LZ - 1285 ALL CLASSES) and Dürkopp Adler (classes 265, 540, 556, 577).
In size NM:70/SIZE:10, this version is especially well suited to light, fine woven and knit fabrics such as blouse and shirt fabrics. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
