CANU 09:27EB1 The 3207 SES needle (needle system 3207) has a small ball point for working knit fabrics, without damaging the loops. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Dürkopp Adler (classes 570, 570 - OTHER CLASS).

The available needle sizes are used, among others, for medium-weight knit fabrics for everyday garment production. As sewing thread, a matching thickness is usually recommended depending on the needle size chosen, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant; for very stretchy seams, a texturised thread also works well. The ball point glides between the loops instead of piercing them, keeping the seam clean and undamaged.

Applications: - Fine to medium knitwear - Light denim materials - Light, densely woven materials - Medium to heavy fabric - Laminated materials (textile/textile) Highlight: strong> Particularly suitable for jerseys and tricots.
COATING:	CHROME Needles with a normal chrome coating can be recognized by their shiny silver surface. The chrome coating provides protection against wear and corrosion. The surface is smooth and protects the material and the thread. Chrome needles can be used for all standard applications. Compared to nickel-plated needles, chrome-plated needles improve the service life of the needle at higher stitch counts. At Groz-Beckert, the equivalent chrome coating is being gradually replaced by their more environmentally friendly "dur" process.
