The needle of system 367 S LG has an acute round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in linking machines for joining knitted fabrics. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Exacta (classes SUPRA, ULTRAV.64H- 68-B, ULTRAVISION 68-B, VISION 68-B) and Rosso (classes BICATENELLA-B). In size NM:120/SIZE:19, this version is especially well suited to heavy, dense knit fabrics and technical knits. A sewing thread in the range Nm 50/2 to Nm 40/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant; for very stretchy seams, a texturised thread also works well.Package contents: pack BR10 with 10 needles
CANU is the abbreviation for "Catalog Number" and represents the system developed by the German needle manufacturer SCHMETZ and used worldwide today for the summary and identification of the same sewing machine needles, which have various designations specific to the sewing machine manufacturer (needle systems).
Needle with a very slim, pointed tip. Enables precise piercing of tightly woven and coated materials. Produces a clean, flawless seam appearance and minimizes seam puckering.Applications:- Very densely woven material such as microfibre and silk- Thin, coated materials- Thin, smooth materials such as e.g. Taffeta- quilting seams for shirt processing (shirt collar, cuffs, front strips)- elastomer threads not braided- manufacture of furs and skins
Needles with a normal chrome coating can be recognized by their shiny silver surface. The chrome coating provides protection against wear and corrosion. The surface is smooth and protects the material and the thread. Chrome needles can be used for all standard applications. Compared to nickel-plated needles, chrome-plated needles improve the service life of the needle at higher stitch counts. At Groz-Beckert, the equivalent chrome coating is being gradually replaced by their more environmentally friendly "dur" process.
