Description
Reviews

The needle of system 660 has an eccentric round point outside the blade for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in linking machines for joining knitted fabrics. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Conti Complett (classes 66, 99, 299, 499), Exacta (classes COLIBRI JET 76, EXAMAT 625, JET, MINI LINKER) and Altin (classes RN 810).

In size NM:90/SIZE:14, this version is especially well suited to medium-weight knit fabrics for everyday garment production. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant; for very stretchy seams, a texturised thread also works well.

SCHMETZ CANU:	CANU 27:53 CANU is the abbreviation for "Catalog Number" and represents the system developed by the German needle manufacturer SCHMETZ and used worldwide today for the summary and identification of the same sewing machine needles, which have various designations specific to the sewing machine manufacturer (needle systems).
NEEDLEPOINT:	Round tip eccentrically outside the shaft 270
COATING:	NICKEL or CHROME PLATED Until the end of 2020, the nickel-plated needle was the standard for household sewing machines. Since then, Schmetz has been gradually converting production to "chrome-plated", as has been standard for industrial needles for decades.
