The B-64 NIT needle (needle system B-64) has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial overlock, coverstitch and safety-stitch machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Rimoldi (classes F 64, 063, 066, 164), Juki (classes MO, MOG, MOJ, MOK) and JACK (classes JK-JK-T9270-12(1/4), JK-JK-T9270-12(3/16), JK-JK-T9270-12-2PL(3/16), JK-JK-T9270-12-2PS(1/4)).
The available needle sizes are used, among others, for medium-weight standard woven and knit fabrics for everyday garment production. As sewing thread, a matching thickness is usually recommended depending on the needle size chosen, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
This needle also has a nickel-Teflon (NIT) coating: a special anti-adhesive coating with excellent sliding properties, high abrasion resistance and high corrosion resistance.
