The B-64 SPI needle (needle system B-64) has an acute round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial overlock, coverstitch and safety-stitch machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Rimoldi (classes F 64, 063, 066, 164), Juki (classes MO, MOG, MOJ, MOK) and JACK (classes JK-JK-T9270-12(1/4), JK-JK-T9270-12(3/16), JK-JK-T9270-12-2PL(3/16）, JK-JK-T9270-12-2PS(1/4)).
In size NM:90/SIZE:14, this version is especially well suited to medium-weight standard woven and knit fabrics for everyday garment production. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
