Generally known as jeans fabric, denim is a strong twill-weave fabric made of cotton, viscose fibers or synthetic fibers, usually with a blue-dyed warp and an undyed (raw white) weft (blue jeans).
In other colors it is called black denim, coloured denim, and depending on the finishing treatment, also bleached denim, brushed denim or stone-washed denim, etc.
