The needle of system 34 has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Singer (classes 45231, 13820, 11, 15), Pfaff (classes 21 FOR LEATHER, 22 FOR LEATHER, 23, 24) and Minerva (classes 326, 521 bis 522, 3216, 72122).
At strength NM:55/SIZE:7, this version is especially well suited to light, fine woven and knit fabrics such as blouse and shirt fabrics. A sewing thread in the range Nm 120/2 to Nm 80/2 (fine) is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant (polyester).
