The needle of system 134 has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Pfaff (classes 22, 28, 33905, 34), Juki (classes ACB, ACF, AEC, ALS) and Singer (classes 20, 61, 107, 108).
At strength NM:75/SIZE:11, this version is especially well suited to light, fine woven and knit fabrics such as blouse and shirt fabrics. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant (polyester).
This needle also has a nickel-Teflon (NIT) coating: a special anti-adhesive coating with excellent sliding properties, high abrasion resistance and high corrosion resistance.
