The 332 (R) needle has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Juki (classes LK, LU, LUH, LK - 1850 G), Pfaff (classes 3125, 3126, 3135, 3136) and Singer (classes 11263, 11, 16, 22).
In size NM:160/SIZE:23, this version is especially well suited to very heavy, multi-layer materials such as webbing, tarpaulins and upholstery composites. A sewing thread in the range Nm 40/2 to Nm 20/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton); for heavy-duty use, a bonded nylon thread.
