The UY 113 GS SPI needle (needle system UY 113 GS) has an acute round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial overlock, coverstitch and safety-stitch machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Rimoldi (classes 066, 264, 066 - 01 ALL CLASSES, 066 - 11- 09 TO 26), Renown (classes 22, 25, 26, 41) and Gemsy (classes GEM-1404, GEM-1404PL, GEM-1404PMD, GEM-1404PTV).
The available needle sizes are used, among others, for medium-weight standard woven and knit fabrics for everyday garment production. As sewing thread, a matching thickness is usually recommended depending on the needle size chosen, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).
