The needle of system UY 121 GS has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial chainstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Union Special (classes 3000, 9500 D, 10600 L, 11500 A, K), Mauser (classes AA, ABG, AE, AHF) and Singer (classes 62, 106, 109, 147).
At strength NM:70/SIZE:10, this version is especially well suited to light, fine woven and knit fabrics such as blouse and shirt fabrics. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil or Rasant (polyester).
