Lubricants
Sewing machines and their mechanisms need lubrication. Here you will find the right oil.
Tip from the sewing industry: petroleum jelly oil is also used to lubricate and cool the needle. When sewing or embroidering materials coated with adhesive or rubber, friction makes the needle very hot. It wears faster, the material can melt and the thread can break.
How does it work? Soak a sponge in oil and attach it to the machine so the thread runs through it and is lightly oiled. Your needle will thank you!
