dur needles from Groz-Beckert are equipped with a chrome coating. The chrome coating is applied using a new coating process that is kinder to the environment. The surface is more matt compared to conventional chrome needles. The difference in color is particularly noticeable in the piston area. The new coating method gives the dur needle even greater wear protection, particularly in the tip area. *The dur coating will gradually replace the standard chrome coating. This is why the dur needle does not have a suffix in the product name. You can recognize the dur needles by the “dur” imprint on the packaging label.
