Commercial flat-piston needle for domestic sewing machines with needle system 130/705 H with half triangular point (cutting point) for leather and foils.The half triangular point (DH) enables easier penetration into leather and similar homogeneous materials thanks to its cutting effect. It also creates a straight stitch line, making the seam look particularly accurate and straight.
AttentionLeather needles are NOT suitable for textiles due to their cutting action, as fabric or stitch threads can be severed during sewing.
TipsChoose a longer stitch length to prevent seam ripping.When backtacking, make sure that the sewing thread is not cut.The leather needle DH can only be used to a limited extent with soft imitation leather: try the Microtex needle first, as the backing material may otherwise be damaged and holes may tear out more quickly.
