The needle of system 134-35 FL has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. In the SERV 7 version, it also offers increased needle stability for secure seams. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines, here mainly for technical applications such as vehicle seating and vehicle interiors rather than classic garment production. In size NM:140/SIZE:22, this version is especially well suited to heavy, multi-layer woven and knit fabrics as well as technical textiles. A sewing thread in the range Nm 40/2 to Nm 20/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton); for heavy-duty use, a bonded nylon thread.Package contents: pack B10 with 10 needles

With household needles this tip shape is used for the needles known as universal needles most of the time no top suffix «R» is used. Needles with a normal chrome coating can be recognized by their shiny silver surface. The chrome coating provides protection against wear and corrosion. The surface is smooth and protects the material and the thread. Chrome needles can be used for all standard applications. Compared to nickel-plated needles, chrome-plated needles improve the service life of the needle at higher stitch counts. At Groz-Beckert, the equivalent chrome coating is being gradually replaced by their more environmentally friendly "dur" process.
Deep special scarf and reinforced shaft for increased needle stability and secure seams.
