The 133 SPI needle (needle system 133) has an acute round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial lockstitch and general-purpose sewing machines for everyday garment and textile manufacturing. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Maquinas de Coser Alfa (classes 105, 125, 127, 136), Pfaff (classes 112, 114 to 3MM ZIGZAG, 130, 133) and Textima (classes 8333). In size NM:80/SIZE:12, this version is especially well suited to medium-weight standard woven and knit fabrics for everyday garment production. A sewing thread in the range Nm 80/2 to Nm 50/2 is usually suitable, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).Package contents: pack BR10 with 10 needles

Needles with a normal chrome coating can be recognized by their shiny silver surface. The chrome coating provides protection against wear and corrosion. The surface is smooth and protects the material and the thread. Chrome needles can be used for all standard applications. Compared to nickel-plated needles, chrome-plated needles improve the service life of the needle at higher stitch counts. At Groz-Beckert, the equivalent chrome coating is being gradually replaced by their more environmentally friendly "dur" process.
