The DBXK5 TN needle (needle system DBXK5) has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial embroidery machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Brother (classes BAS, BAS -401, BAS -410, BAS -411), Tajima (classes MLHII, TEHX, TEJT, TFGN) and ZSK (classes 169, 172 to 175, 201 to 224, J).
In size NM:80/SIZE:12, this version is especially well suited to standard embroidery on medium-weight fabrics. An embroidery thread in size No. 40 is usually suitable, e.g. Amann Isacord.
This needle also features a titanium nitride (TN) coating: it improves the needle's service life at higher stitch counts and reduces needle smearing. At Groz-Beckert, this coating is called GEBEDUR.
