The needle of system JLX1 has a normal round point for working woven and knit fabrics. It is used in industrial sewing machines. Suitable machine classes are found, among others, at Fritz Gegauf (classes 204).

The available needle sizes are used, among others, for medium-weight standard woven and knit fabrics for everyday garment production. As sewing thread, a matching thickness is usually recommended depending on the needle size chosen, e.g. from Amann Serafil (polyester) or Rasant (polyester/cotton).

This needle is burnished – a rare finish used, among other things, to provide visual relief on multi-needle machines.
