Industrial sewing machine needles
How do you find the right needle for your sewing machine?
With our filters you are sure to find the right needles.
First search for the needle system that fits your machine. You will find the designation on the machine’s rating plate or in the operating manual.
If you have already used SCHMETZ needles, you will find the CANU on their pack – with the correct CANU you will find your needles fastest.
Then select the required point style. The material largely determines the point style – as a professional you know the differences; otherwise just ask us.
The needle size is given in 1/100 millimetre. Example: NM 80 = 0.8 mm or NM 100 = 1.0 mm. You will also find the SINGER designation, for example 12, which corresponds to NM 80. We write this as NM:80/SIZE:12.
The width of the needle eye is normally 40 % of the needle diameter.
Packaging: manufacturers change their packaging from time to time, especially boxes and sachets. We therefore deliver the units currently available with the number of needles you ordered.
Just ask us – we stock and supply ALL available needle systems, even in large quantities.
